§ 115. Mr. R. Harrisasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will now consider proceeding with the Lake Victoria project to supply water to territories in East Africa.
§ Mr. HareSurveys of the requirements of Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika for water from the Nile system will soon be completed. When the results of these surveys are available, my right hon. Friend will consider, in consultation with the East African Governments, what action, if any, it is desirable to take to safeguard those requirements.
