§ Mr. Ellis Smithasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will take steps to appoint tripartite investigation commissions, with appropriate terms of reference, to suit each industry, and, in particular, to examine and investigate each industry, its prospects and the contribution it is making, or could make, in our economy and export trade, and to report as to the steps that should be taken in the national interests to strengthen the industry, improve its prospects, its output and plan for the future.
