§ 54. Mr. Swinglerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action he has taken on the Report of the Principal Auditor on the departmental accounts of the Seychelles for the year 1954, with particular reference to those parts of his 36W Report dealing with the inadequate maintenance of books, records, and accounts and the erroneous assessment of customs duties.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI have asked the Governor for his observations on the Principal Auditor's Report. When his reply is received I will write to the hon. Member about those matters to which he has drawn attention.
