§ 71. Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if, in view of the rapid resurgence of the peoples of the Colonies and the growing disquiet arising out of this urge for self-government, he will convene a conference of representatives of all our Colonies for 44W the purpose of discussing with them their various needs and the possibility of a more rapid development towards self-government at an early date.
