§ Mr. Shortasked the Minister of Health if he will give details of the damage done at a party held by doctors at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, on 6th July; what has been the cost of making good this damage; and by whom the cost will be met.
§ Mr. TurtonI am informed that damage was done to windows, a stair bannister, a door and a telephone in the medical residency at the hospital, and to a statue in the grounds. The Board of Governors estimates the cost of repair and restoration at £110 and has instructed its solicitors to write to the persons concerned with a view to recovering the cost
