§ Captain Kerbyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why he has approved Mr. Vernon Gattie, Q.C., to act as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Tomato and Cucumber Marketing Board.
Mr. AmoryApproval was given at the end of 1951 to the appointment of Mr. Vernon Gattie, C.B.E., J.P., as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee set up under the Tomato and Cucumber Marketing Scheme. Mr. Gattie is a barrister of many years' standing and was formerly Treasury Counsel and a Metropolitan Police Magistrate.
