§ Major Lloyd-GeorgeI regret that the figures for convictions are not available for the years 1935–1950. For this period the figures for arrests are given instead. The figures relate to prostitutes dealt with for soliciting to the annoyance of the inhabitants or passengers or behaving in a riotous or indecent manner, and are as follows:
