§ 3. Major Beamishasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what further protests have been made to the Polish Government since 11th January, 1947, about that Government's failure to carry out the provisions of the Potsdam and Yalta Agreements regarding the holding of free elections in Poland.
§ Mr. Dodds-ParkerA protest was addressed to the Polish Government on 14th January, 1947. Since then, no further protests have been made to the Polish Government. But the Polish and other Governments concerned are well aware, from repeated statements by my right hon. Friends and their predecessors, of the strong feeling in this country that all the peoples of Eastern Europe should be free to choose their own form of Government.
