§ 16. Mr. Harold Daviesasked the Postmaster-General how many parcels and letters were opened in 1954–55 and 1955–56 in obedience to the express warrant in writing of a Secretary of State acting on behalf of the President of the Board of Trade as permitted under Section 58, subsection (1) of the Post Office Act, 1953.
§ 17. Mr. Usborneasked the Postmaster-General whether, in the last five years, the number of private letters opened under instructions by the Home Office has increased or decreased, and by how much per cent.
