§ Mr. TurtonI am aware that hospitals, in common with other public services, are experiencing difficulties in recruiting and retaining ancillary workers. Wages are fixed by the Ancillary Staffs Council and a general increase of 11s. 6d. per week for men and 8s. 6d. per week for women was given in February.
