§ 40. Mr. McInnesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has yet given a decision to Glasgow Corporation regarding the acquisition of 500 acres of ground in the Summerston area for the purpose of building 5,000 houses.
§ Mr. J. StuartThe National Coal Board has applied to Glasgow Corporation for permission to work coal under the area in question and has not yet received a decision from the Corporation. As an appeal may be made to me by the Coal Board in the event of the Corporation refusing, or attaching conditions to their permission, I cannot intervene at this stage, and I have so informed the Corporation.
