The Head of the Political Office with the Middle East Forces receives an annual salary of £2,700 and a foreign allowance of £2,090 per annum. The officer who has been appointed Head of the British Information Services in New York will receive an annual salary of £2,100 and a foreign allowance of £3,715 per annum.
