§ Captain Kerbyasked the Attorney-General what circumstances have been responsible for the delays on the part of the Lands Tribunal in dealing with cases requiring its attention during the last year.
§ The Attorney-GeneralDelay in the hearing of cases last year was due mainly to illness, which led to the President's absence for five weeks and to the resignation in February of another member of the Tribunal whose successor was unable to take up his duties until October. In addition, a number of heavy cases took substantially longer than the parties had estimated.
