§ Mr. DigbyThe Admiralty holds only a part of the eastern arm of the pier. Terms for acquiring the remainder of this part of the pier as a site for a naval servicing craft maintenance base are being discussed provisionally with the Gillingham Town Council. The western arm is unaffected.
