§ Major Beamishasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies which British companies made comprehensive films of Her Majesty the Queen's recent tour of Nigeria; whether a film has been made in colour; and what arrangements his Department is making for 16 mm. and 35 mm. films to be quickly available in sufficient quantity in all British Colonies and Protectorates with commentaries in the required languages.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydA full-length colour film is now in production for the Government of the Federation of Nigeria. It is intended to make as soon as possible a shorter version of this film in both 35 mm. and 16 mm. with an English commentary for distribution in the overseas territories. Meanwhile the fullest74W possible use has been made of black and white material in the official newsreel "British News" which has a very wide distribution.
