§ 61. Mr. F. Harrisasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if, at the cessation of the active phase of the emergency 36W in Kenya, he will instigate a full inquiry into and examination of the origins and growth of Mau Mau to ascertain why the movement was allowed to grow to such an extent before the Kenya Government took action, and in order to ensure that such circumstances shall never come about again.
§ Mr. HareThe Kenya Government intends to investigate these matters fully at the end of the active phase of the emergency.
