§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Governor has reported that his visit to West Demerara has helped his understanding of the problems there and that he was much impressed by the potentialities of the Boerasirie extension project for improving the drainage and irrigation of the whole area and for bringing an important extent of new land into production. He is satisfied that good progress is being maintained on this scheme.
