§ Mr. Masonasked the Minister of Health when he anticipates work will commence on the new 600 bedded hospital for Barnsley; and the estimated length of time for completion.
§ Mr. TurtonNo new hospital is proposed for Barnsley at present. The Regional Hospital Board is preparing a scheme of major extensions to St. Helen Hospital but I cannot yet say when this will start. It is estimated that the full scheme would take some five years to complete.
