StuartIn the period between 1st January, 1945, and 31st January, 1956, there were 45 fatal casualties resulting from 25 fire incidents in the area of the Lanarkshire Fire Brigade Joint Commit. tee. The average time which elapsed between receipt of the fire call and arrival of the first appliance at the incident was eight minutes.
