HC Deb 21 February 1956 vol 549 c29W
Mr. Parkin

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what special measures, such as mass radiography, he is taking to prevent the spread of tuberculosis in the prisons of Cyprus as a result of the increased numbers of persons under arrest.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

I am informed that there is no question of the spread of tuberculosis in the prisons, nor is there overcrowding. Although mass radiography is not undertaken, full radio-graphical facilities are available and these are used whenever required.
