Mr. Shinwellasked the Prime Minister whether he will appoint a Select Committee to consider and report on the powers vested in the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force, Post Office, and Ministry of Supply, to provide for the manufacture, under their own control, of stores, clothing, footwear, vehicles, and other needs.
