asked the Postmaster-General how many applications for telephones were outstanding in Lincoln on 31st December, 1955.

Eighty-four. In addition, 225 were in course of being met or under inquiry. 747 telephones were connected last year, compared with 601 in 1954.

asked the Postmaster-General when he expects the new Lincoln telephone exchange to be in full operation.
