asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will reimpose a speed limit on that part of Durham Road, Stockton-on-Tees, between the Mill House Hotel and the borough boundary.

There is at present a speed limit on this road as a result of the street lighting erected last year, but I have now informed the borough council that, after considering the report of a public inquiry, I have decided to make an order removing the speed limit from the greater part of this road.
