HC Deb 15 February 1956 vol 548 c270W
101. Sir L. Ropner

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what progress has been made to date on the reconstruction of the widening of the Doncaster Mill bridge; when the work is likely to be completed; and whether any new estimate has yet been made of the total cost involved.

Mr. Watkinson

Tenders for the work have been asked for by 19th March, 1956. It is hoped that the work will be completed early in 1960. As regards the total cost, the current estimate will be reviewed when the results of the tenders are known.
