HC Deb 09 February 1956 vol 548 cc205-6W
67. Mr. Hamilton

asked the Minister of Labour how many building trade workers were employed in the new township of Glenrothes, Fife, at the end of September, 1955; how many are now employed; and how many will become redundant consequent on the recently announced slowing down of the town's development.

Mr. Iain Macleod

The number employed at the end of September, 1955, was 373, and the number employed today is 352. I know of no likely redundancies in the near future.
