§ Mr. Lennox-BoydHeavy rain at Christmas time caused a series of small washaways on the railway line in the Central Province. The main road to Morogoro was cut, other roads damaged and fifty miles of telephone line were affected. Temporary repairs were made in a few days but permanent repairs will take some months to complete.
