asked the President of the Board of Trade which countries have been the main purchasers of wool tops for the years 1953, 1954 and 1955, respectively; and what was the sterling values of tops shipped to these countries in each of these years.

In each of the three years, the main purchasers have been Canada, India, China and Finland. Details of exports of wool tops to these and other countries in 1953, 1954 and 1955 appear on pages 157–8 of the recently published December issue of the Accounts relating to the Trade and Navigation of the United Kingdom.
