§ Mr. HareThe British Council continue to be responsible for the reception, accommodation and welfare of all Colonial students in Scotland, as elsewhere in the United Kingdom. Most of the work hitherto done by the Area Office of the Colonial Office Students Department has been taken over by the Students Units of the oversea Governments. That office has, therefore, been closed.
