Mr. McKayasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) to publish in the Statistical Digest, at intervals of six months, the average weekly hours worked by persons earning salaries, in such a way as to afford a proper comparison with the published six-monthly figures relating to wage-earners;
(2) to publish in the Statistical Digest, at intervals of six months, the average weekly earnings of men and women, respectively, who earn salaries, in such a way as to afford a proper comparison with the published six-monthly figures relating to wage-earners.
