§ Mr. Goughasked the Postmaster-General if, in view of the heavy deficiencies and the number of mailbags lost on the overseas postal services, as reported by the Comptroller and Auditor-General, he will consider using non-returnable bags in future for the overseas service and thereby show a large saving as far as losses are concerned.
Dr. HillOn present costs a general use of non-returnable bags would considerably exceed the deficiencies mentioned by my hon. Friend.
