ButlerThe successful operation of the Calder Hall reactor and the further work now being done by the Atomic Energy Authority and industry on this type of reactor give solid grounds for confidence that it is capable of considerable development as regards efficiency and capacity. As regards other possible types of reactor in the more distant future, I regret that I can add nothing at present to the information contained in the Atomic Energy Authority's Second Annual Report.
