§ Mr. Ian HarveyReductions in orders of Valiants, Hunters, Seamews and Shackletons have been made as announced in the Statement on Defence, 1956. Further reductions in the production of air stores, which include aircraft, have been made as announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the House on 26th June. As regards the future, I must ask the hon. Member to await the 1957 Statement on Defence.
