§ 34. Mr. M. Lindsayasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why the Aliens Department has not acknowledged or replied to letters dated 7th November and 23rd November, 1956, from Mr. R. K. Jablonski, of Solihull, who applied in July for a visa to be given for his mother to visit him from Poland before he himself takes up an appointment in South Africa.
§ Major Lloyd-GeorgeThe visa application was received in the Home Office from Warsaw only two days ago and a visa has now been authorised. I am sorry that owing to the heavy pressure of work on the section of the Aliens Department that deals with Central and Eastern Europe, Mr. Jablonski's letters had not been answered.
