54. Mr. Younger

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will give the names of the members of the United Kingdom Delegation to the present session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, stating which members of Her Majesty's Government have so far attended and which are expected to attend.

Commander Noble

The Delegation is composed of four Delegates and five Alternate Delegates. The Delegates are my right hon. and learned Friend, the Foreign Secretary, the Minister of State for Colonial Affairs, Sir Pierson Dixon (Permanent Delegate of the United Kingdom to the United Nations) and Mrs. Walter Elliot. The Alternate Delegates are Lord Lothian, Sir Alec Randall, Sir Gerald Fitzmaurice, Mr. P. M. Crosthwaite and Mr. I. T. M. Pink My right hon. And learned Friend attended meetings of the General Assembly from 12th to 23rd November. The Minister of State for Colonial Affairs was in New York from 15th to 30th November.
