§ THE MINISTER OF STATE, SCOTTISH OFFICE (LORD STRATHCLYDE)A joint report on the Control of Deer1118WA has recently been submitted to the Secretary of State for Scotland by the Nature Conservancy, The Scottish Landowners' Federation, The British Field Sports Society (Scotland), The National Farmers' Union of Scotland, and The Blackface Sheep Breeders' Association. The Government are considering this report but it is not possible at this stage to say whether or when they may be able to introduce legislation on the subject.
