Mr. Brockway

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many Africans have been registered as electors in the different tribes, respectively, in Kenya.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd,

pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 14th November, 1956; Vol. 560, c. 20], supplied the following information:

By the 31st October, 64,606 Africans had been registered as voters in Kenya. The breakdown of this total by tribes is as follows:
