ButlerI am informed by the Atomic Energy Authority that, except for periods from 5th to 12th November and from 14th to 22nd November, when the reactor was shut down for examination, Calder Hall has produced electricity continuously since 17th October. The reactor is being run to capacity, apart from slight variations to allow checks of equipment, which will continue for some time.
