HC Deb 05 December 1956 vol 561 c121W
15. Mr. A. E. Cooper

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he is yet in a position to announce plans for facilitating the flow of traffic at Tower Bridge and London Bridge.

Mr. Molson

I understand that the Commissioners of Police are ready, with my right hon. Friend's agreement, to undertake an experiment in one-way working at the northern approaches to Tower Bridge, as soon as Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act, 1956, is in force. As regards the southern approaches and London Bridge, discussions are still in progress.
