HC Deb 05 December 1956 vol 561 c147W
151. Sir J. Hutchison

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what provision is being made for the reception of British subjects expelled from Egypt here or in the Colonies.

Major Lloyd-George

As regards the arrangements for the reception in this country of British subjects expelled from Egypt, I would refer my hon. Friend to the Answer which I gave to a Question yesterday by my hon. Friend the Member for Portsmouth, South (Sir J. Lucas). Those Cypriots who wish to return to Cyprus and are in possesion of valid British passports will be allowed to return there.
