HC Deb 02 August 1956 vol 557 c176W
35. Mr. Marlowe

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations whether he is aware that many former Government servants whose pensions are administered by his Department have not yet received the increased pensions due to them under the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1956; and when payment may be expected.

Commander Noble

The increases are being paid as rapidly as possible. About one-third of those entitled are already receiving them, and it is hoped that most of the rest will be receiving them by the end of August.
