§ 84. Mr. C. Hughesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will now state the terms of the new Anglo-Irish Agreement upon civil aviation.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI had hoped to be able to make a statement about this Agreement before the House rose for the summer Recess. Unfortunately it has not yet proved possible for the final text of the Agreement to be signed in Dublin. Thus, I regret, I am not yet in a position to state the terms of the new Agreement. I can say, however, that there is no outstanding difference of principle between our two countries and I will ensure that a public announcement is made as soon as practicable.
