§ 77. Mr. F. M. Bennettasked the Postmaster-General what provisions exist in Head Postmasters Manual C.1 specifying in respect of town sub-offices the minimum distance from an existing office at which new town sub-offices may be established.
Dr. HillIn general the instructions are that a town sub-office should not ordinarily be established less than a mile from an existing office. But modifications to this general arrangement are made where circumstances justify them.
