§ THE LORD CHANCELLORI am aware of the delays in the Land Registry, and I am glad to state that they are being satisfactorily reduced. The following table shows the average number of working days taken to complete first registrations of title and to register dealings in registered land respectively throughout the year 1955 and in the month of Stine of this year:—
most cases registration merely records a completed transaction and the time occupied by the process does not normally inconvenience the public.
