§ 101. Mr. J. Howardasked the Minister of Health if he will make a statement concerning the fitting of artificial eyes 167W under the National Health Service in order to clarify the position.
§ Mr. TurtonArtificial eyes, including moveable eyes and prosthetic shells, are supplied and fitted free of charge through National Health Service hospitals and the eye-fitting service of my Department, which has a number of centres throughout the country. Patients should be referred in the first instance by their own doctor to a hospital ophthalmologist.
