§ Mr. H. NichollsMy right hon. Friend has made careful inquiries into this matter and is satisfied that stocks of imported potatoes at Bristol docks are being cleared normally. My information is that the potato supply position in the City of Bristol is the same as in other166W urban centres: there are at present sufficient potatoes to meet demand, and he sees no reason to take any action in the matter.
