Mr. Skeffingtonasked the Minister of Defence what action has been taken to implement the recommendation of the 156W Advisory Council on Scientific Policy that the Services' requirements of first and second class honours graduates for certain posts in the Active Forces should be reviewed to see whether the qualifications demanded are justified.
§ Sir W. MoncktonThe requirements of the Services for men with these qualifications are kept under review. With the increasing complexity of weapons and techniques, I fear that it is unlikely that they will diminish.
