§ Mr. Buchan-HepburnThe total production of sand and gravel in the years 1953, 1954 and 1955 was 42 million, 44 million and 48 million cubic yards. The Monopolies Commission investigated supply only in Central Scotland. So far as action on the Report is concerned, I would refer the hon. Member to the last paragraph of the reply given by my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade on 23rd March last to my hon. Friend the Member for Scotstoun (Sir J. Hutchison).
