Mr. Lucasasked the Secretary of State for Air whether a decision has yet been reached regarding the specification for a basic jet trainer for the Royal Air Force; what conclusions have been drawn from the evaluation trials of the Jet Provost; and whether he will make a statement on the policy to be followed for providing ab initio and intermediate training aircraft for the Service.
