§ Mr. MaudlingThe transaction in question was the disposal in 1946 and 1947 of some vehicles lying in Germany. The original contract price of £454,740 was reduced to £375,778 to compensate for deficiencies in the number of vehicles delivered and shortcomings in their condition.
