HC Deb 17 April 1956 vol 551 c61W
86. Mr. Palmer

asked the Minister of Works whether he is satisfied that his Department has sufficient draughtsmen to carry out the necessary preparatory technical work at the Spadeadam site for guided weapon testing; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Buchan-Hepburn

The precise requirements of staff for the Spadeadam scheme cannot yet be determined. Few draughtsmen will be needed at the site itself; elsewhere the Ministry's drawing office staff will have to be supplemented, and I am confident that this can be arranged.
